Before you ask

Questions I get every week

How far in advance should I book?
Portrait sessions usually book two to three weeks out. Weddings and commercial projects tend to be booked three to nine months ahead, though last-minute dates open up more often than you would think — it is always worth asking.
What happens if the weather turns?
Overcast is genuinely good light, so most sessions go ahead regardless. If conditions are actually unworkable we reschedule at no cost, and I will normally say so a day ahead rather than making you drive out.
Do I get the raw files?
No — the edit is part of the work, in the same way a mix is part of a record. You receive full-resolution edited files with the rights to print and share them, which covers everything most clients need.
Can you retouch more heavily?
Standard editing covers colour, contrast, and removing genuine distractions. Beyond that I keep skin and bodies as they are. If a commercial project needs heavier compositing, that gets quoted separately.
Do you travel?
Frequently. Travel inside New England is included; anywhere further is billed at cost and agreed up front before anything is booked.
How do I actually book?
Send an enquiry through the contact page with your date and what you have in mind. You will get a reply within two business days with availability and a quote. A signed agreement and a 30% retainer hold the date.
