Portraits, places, and things.
I am Colin — a photographer working in natural light and long conversations. Everything below was worth waiting for.

How I work
Eight blades and a lot of waiting.
The technical side is not the interesting part, but it is the part that has to be invisible. I shoot fast, in available light, with as little equipment as the situation allows — so that by the time anything worth photographing happens, nobody is thinking about the camera.

What I photograph
Portrait sessions
Individual, couple or family portraits on location. We scout a place that means something to you rather than defaulting to a studio.
From $450 · 90 minutes
Headshots
Professional headshots for actors, founders and teams. Clean, current, and not the kind that looks like a lanyard photo.
From $325 · 45 minutes
Events & weddings
Documentary coverage of the day as it actually happens. Minimal direction, no long lists of posed groupings unless you want them.
From $2,400 · Half or full day
Commercial & product
Product, food, interiors and brand work. Licensing scoped to how you actually plan to use the images.
Day rate $1,800 · Full day
We are both deeply uncomfortable in front of a camera and somehow ended up with photographs of ourselves that we actually like. Colin barely seemed to be working.
Maya & Tom R. · Engagement session
The product shots lifted our conversion rate more than the redesign did. He understood the brief in one call and delivered a week early.
Priya N. · Commercial client, home goods
He spent the whole day nearly invisible, and then handed us six hundred photographs that felt like being back inside it.
